@gamer_lafan: The Neo Geo had quite a few fun sports games. There were baseball, basketball, golf, bowling, and of course the Super Sidekicks soccer series, which was known as Tokuten Ou (The Ultimate 11) in Japan. The animation was impressive, and it did a good job of capturing the excitement of a real match. In Korea, however, it never received much attention because games like Tecmo World Cup ’98, Virtua Striker, and Seibu Cup Soccer were far more popular. Even so, I’ve heard the series gained a decent following overseas. I guess watching soccer is always fun during the World Cup season, but playing a soccer game at the same time makes it even more enjoyable. ⚽
