This is false. They did this because scientifically and historically, eating food from other countries that your stomach isn’t accustomed to can create stomach problems. The USA has done this, the UK has done this, in fact every country has. If you notice, all the civilians of other countries are eating USA food and enjoying it because they don’t have to worry about that. Not to mention, I don’t believe they’d call it American food when it’s the USA, North American, food.
