Oh also another story is that I used to work as a therapy tech and I had a patient who had absent seizures. I had never seen an absent seizure in person before, so that was actually the first time it clicked that that was most likely what I was experiencing because my coworkers were explaining absent seizures to me. Ironically, that was not the first or last time I learned about medical things I experienced working there. I had the classic medical student experience

like wdym i almost had a seizure in walmart the other day bc my bloodsugar went low as hell.... i had to get my bf to lead me to the drink aisle so i could chug a single serve starbucks coffee 😭 being chronically ill is INSANE.

my bio mom had epilepsy, and I'm a dissociative system. since epilepsy ran in the family, I gotta worry if I'm having a seizure (I have NO idea if I have epilepsy mind you) or if I'm just zoned out or having anxiety tics. TvT it's so fun.

i have hand tics (not sure if it’s a disorder or lingering issues) and my hands shake a lot as well, and my tics happen EVERY TIME i am holding a cup of water full too high and then i spill that shit all over myself
