so!! i worked the takedown the other day for this and i’m not under any confidentiality agreements. it’s been a whole mess, the show is so disorganised and all the roadies were on edge. the trucks left vancouver late after an 8 hr strike, and arrived in edmonton 2 hrs late in the wrong order. they were still setting up at 7:30 pm (day of show), and started 2 hrs late, and ended at midnight (with a shortened opener set). the edmonton strike then took 5 1/2 hrs, finishing at 5:30am. it was brutal, everyone was tired, a lot of local crew worked the set up and called out of the take down. i’m so sorry that ur experience with this show was yet again shit, everyone’s been having a bad time, i think its gonna keep going like that

i was in las vegas for a music festival and akon was going to be at a certain dance club to perform. me and my bestie left at 4am bc he still wasnt there. the man came out at 5AM!!!! still skip his songs to this day 😭
