Takes like this ignore the real problem. What is the state of public infrastructure in Malaysia? How many well planned, well developed neighborhood do they have? How good is public transportation? All of this things affect the cost of property which impacts rents including short rents. Lagos has very few developed neighborhood with decent infrastructure, and demand is out stripped by supply. Add to the fact that public utilities is non existent to unreliable so you provide you own water, power and security. All of this things add to cost.
