@brittanydixonart: I had the privilege of working on this double portrait of the GORGEOUS Alfie and Reuben over the last few weeks 🎨 Creating an entire scene, working from separate photos of each pup and positioning the dogs together in a way that feels natural can present challenges that replicating a single reference image doesn’t, but this is also what makes painting portraits so rewarding. We’re able to make something exist that doesn’t already! So grateful for my lovely client trusting me to capture her beautiful boys in paint💛💛 12 x 16” oil on canvas in blonde hardwood frame. #oilpainting #artist #dogportrait

cecilia :

Is your underpsintings oil or acrylic

Bekah :

Is gamsol a paint thinner and a paintbrush cleaner??

Cami Galiana :

just curious, when you do the underpainting, do you have to wait for it to dry? i’ve never used oil paintings xx

yeetusdeletus :

this over ai any day.

XD :

What pencil do you use? When I pencil for the under painting it always ends up smudging around.

@Artist-109 :

honestly speaking what is the point of painting the whole Convers Brown if you are going to paint over it

Pepperspie MNL :

is this oil paint?

⭐️Lisa✨ :

Do you spray your pencil marks before the underpainting wash goes onto the whole canvas? To keep the sketch from smearing away
