@teritrinco: Snorkeling is one of the best natural ways to slow down and disconnect for a while. If you are visiting Trincomalee, Pigeon Island in Nilaveli is one of the best places to snorkel. Try to book in advance. If you are traveling alone, you can often share a boat with others. Private boats are available too, but cost more. Many operators also offer packages that include snorkeling equipment. I spent almost five hours here, most of it in the water.
