It was built by the Kingdom of Champa between the 4th and 13th centuries and served as an important religious and cultural center. The site contains red-brick temple ruins dedicated mainly to the Hindu god Shiva. Today, My Son is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam’s most significant historical attractions.
