The fact that you implemented & then constantly followed the same routine absolutely speaks volumes on how good you’re as a breeder. It will help future owners of these furbabies so much! 👌🥰 One of my mothers dogs have the same fox toy. She will guard it with her life but insists on bringing it out for walks even though it means putting on her harness becomes a real life game of ”Hungry hungry Hippos” 😅

Making a picture book isn't a straight line; it’s a high-stakes quest where you’re constantly declaring victory, only to realize there’s a new boss battle hiding around the corner. In the world of P & V and the Ice Pop Bath, I’ve had to defeat: Boss #1: The Strategic Council of Very Curious Cats. They hit me with the feedback I hated most: "the kittens shouldn't be sick." That led to three months of "manuscript surgery" to pivot the entire plot. Boss #2: The Trademark Trap. I threw a party for 75 people for a book that technically doesn't exist because the name was trademarked. Legal necessity really is the mother of invention. Boss #3: Same-Face Syndrome. Just when I thought I was done, a critique forced me back to the drawing board for a total cover redesign to give P and V the "theatrical intensity" they deserve. Somehow, through all the layout fights and questionable decisions, there is a book at the end. But right now, I’m back in the trenches with Draft 5 of Book Two—and the kittens are already alarmed.
