@rickygoeswild: A proper winter mission to the summit of Ben Lomond. ❄️🏔️ What started as a cold morning quickly turned into a full alpine adventure as Jack and I climbed higher into the snow-covered mountains above Queenstown. The higher we went, the deeper the snow became, with every step making us work a little harder. Standing on the summit surrounded by fresh snow and endless views across Lake Wakatipu, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak and the surrounding Southern Alps made every bit of effort worth it. Days like this are exactly why I love getting out into New Zealand's wild places. ⚠️ Winter conditions can change rapidly on Ben Lomond. Snow, ice, strong winds and low visibility are common.
