Unboxing the @polene_paris Polene numero dix in black cherry in smooth leather 🍒 this colour and model runs out of stock fast in their Regent Street store so this was preordered online last month and just arrived today. If I had an option I prefer buying bags in person so I can inspect them and see if there are any defects. There are many bad reviews from online orders but I would say mine was a good batch. No dents, marks, scratches, stains or big flaws except a small glue residue (video). At this price point I would recommend to exchange if you can but because I’d have to send it from London it’s just a hassle. I love this particular model and colour but this would probably be my first and last purhase from them. Polene has a store in London and I visited them last month to buy this bag and found that their customer service varies depending on the person. I was looking for this specific colour and model but one guy SA gaslighted me and tried to convince me that the sandalwood and black chery are the same colour and as a girl I obviously did not believe him. Another girl SA was more genuine in assisting me, and didn’t push me into buying a different model when I told her that not all bag shapes suit me. Ive also been to one of their stores in paris and even though it is much cheaper after tax refund but, the queue was really long and I don’t have the patience to wait in the heat.
