I felt this was the worst part of the series and a forced attempt to make Tony appear more despicable to prepare for the end. Tony throughout the entire series is shown to avoid gambling and follow his father's teachings, he even calls out other degenerate gamblers, the only time we really see him gamble is with other people's money (Ralphie's). Suddenly, out of completely NOWHERE he has a gambling problem and is out of money? What? Where did this entire situation come from? There was no foreshadowing whatsoever, suddenly Tony was an addicted gambler and broke.
