Everyone knows Phở and Bánh Mì but those are just the beginning 🍜 I’ve been living in Ho Chi Minh City and these 10 dishes that I hope people will try! #3 is my non-negotiable, I order it at least once a week 😅 And #10 literally tastes like adobo so Filipinos will feel right at home!!! Save this for your Vietnam trip and tag someone you’re going with ✈️ Part 2 dropping soon with more snacks 1. Bánh Canh Cua: Thick tapioca noodles in crab broth. Heavier than phở but the crab flavor is insane 🦀 2. Xôi Gà: Sticky rice with shredded chicken, fried shallots, and pork floss. Try Xoi Ga Number 1 3. Bún Chả: Grilled pork patties with rice noodles and dipping broth. MY PERSONAL FAVE. I could eat this every day 🔥 4. Bún Thịt Nướng: Cold vermicelli with grilled pork, herbs, and sweet fish sauce. Perfect for hot days 🌞 5. Cơm Tấm: Broken rice with grilled pork chop, egg, and fish sauce. Their version of tocilog!!! 6. Bún Bò Huế : Spicy beef noodle soup from Huế. Bolder and spicier than phở. For those who like heat! 7. Bò Né Ba Nui: Sizzling steak, eggs, and pâté on a hot plate. “Né” means dodge because the oil SPLATTERS 😂 8. Gà Hấp Nước Mắm: Whole chicken steamed in fish sauce. Simple but the flavor is UNREAL 🤤 9. Bánh Xèo: Crispy turmeric pancake with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. Wrap in lettuce and dip! I reco Bep Me In! 10. Thịt Kho: Braised pork in caramel sauce with eggs. Basically Vietnamese adobo!!! Pinoys you will LOVE this 🇵🇭 #VietnamFood #VietnamStreetFood #HCMCFood
