@amye_la: The first photo shows my nails done by someone truly passionate about her craft. The next photos show the work of someone just doing it because it’s a job. It had been a month since my last salon visit. Because my usual nail tech is far away and I lacked the time to travel, I looked for a closer salon that offered multiple services. I chose this establishment since I pass by it every time I am in town. I booked a facial spa and a gel manicure. The facial was nice and the staff was very accommodating. However, a different staff member was assigned to my nails. I expected a great experience, but today was highly disappointing. The staff kept insisting on doing things her way, even though the results clearly looked bad. I eventually had to grab the nail file to fix the shape myself after she ruined it. I seriously considered walking out mid-service. Still, I chose to trust the process, hoping it would turn out fine if I just stayed quiet. Sadly, it did not. To all service providers: please practice and upgrade your skills. Delivering excellent service is how you keep clients coming back and gaining referrals.
