I remembered way back when I was 7-10 years old my aunt left me in a playhouse for kids in the mall and I was by myself when 2 chinese siblings approached me. At first I thought they wanted to play with me but when I went down the slide they dragged both my feet, dragging me around the rubber playground. They then proceeded to laugh and wouldn’t let me go no matter how hard I flailed. Mind you they were twice my size lol. I didn’t know how to react and I was quiet as a child so hindi ako nagsumbong and just let it passed.

Someone pushed my niece sa school nya. My niece did not retaliate. Paguwi nya, she just told me what happened. I was furious but I told her to remember how it made her feel and never inflict the same to others. Tapos sabi ko, wag na nya lalapitan yung classmate nya na yun. I bought her an ice cream after. So I hope para sa parents or guardians, there is a way to teach children to be kind. It will ALWAYS reflect on your upbringing. Children are blank slates, gagayahin lang nila kung ano makikita nila. Spoiled yung bata? Baka medyo napagbigyan kasi natin siguro. Sutil o sobrang malikot? Maybe the kid loves attention, so let’s provide the kid an activity where the kid can express him/herself freely. If there are conditions involved (neurodivergent), you should know as a parent/guardian how to manage that. If may magsabi man po na turuan ko pamangkin ko mag-fight back, saka na po siguro. Pag mas naiintindihan na nya na ang consequences ng pamimisikal para magamit nya sa tama. 😊

How about yung samin, pag nasa bahay talagang laban na laban like binabato kami bigla ng kahit ano, mananapak, mangangagat, mangungurot. Pero sa school, sinaksak daw sya sa lapis ng classmate nya pero di sya lumaban, sinumbong lang samin pag uwi. Like nung umuwi sya di talaga kami naniniwala kasi alam naming lalaban sya, peri totoo pala, hirap paniwalaan eh 😭
