@melissagotstyle: Some people are surprised to know that being a personal stylist is my actual job! Anywhere from 4-6 days a week I’m either instore with a client or visiting their wardrobe to curate what they own into outfit solutions. Instore styling is so much more than just the shopping component. Yes it’s an important part but there are other pieces to the puzzle to create a seamless shopping experience for the client. They aren’t only paying me for my research, prep and selection of suitable pieces it’s equally about serving them a wardrobe that co-ordinates. It doesn’t matter if it’s a tight capsule wardrobe or a wider selection I haven’t met a client that didn’t want pieces that mix and match together. It takes the guess work, thought, brain power required out of the daily “what am I going to wear” when all the pieces are cohesive in style, fit and colourways to drown out the second guessing when getting dressed. A lot of what I know comes from years of experience as well as an innate sense of what suits, what goes together and how it all comes together to form outfits! But I’ve learnt that you can’t put a price on confidence, clothes matter to you feeling your best self, having great outfits and less stress about what to wear is a gamechanger and I’m lucky to call that work ❤️ #personalstylist #fashion #fyp #OOTD #work
