My child will have their phone on them no matter what they know when to use it and when not to use it until the school starts paying for the phone bill, they have zero saying what my child does with their phone

It’s a fourth amendment violation. It’s a public school. They have to go buy constitutional rights. Those children still have constitutional rights. They also can sue their school for violating their constitutional rights.

I went to school without a phone.. Had an emergency at home one time. My parents contacted the school and told the school what was going on. School pulled me from class told me the there was an emergency and my parents are coming to pick me up. End of story. That’s how things worked before cell phones. It’s a simple concept.

People seem to forget kids are at school to learn, not text and post on social media all day. They can go 7 hours without a phone. It will be ok.

as a parent I hate this i my kids cant call me if they need anything and it feels like if something happened in school teachers or staff cant be held accountable parents need to educate there kids and set boundaries
