Three weeks in, felt good, wanted to add an extra session. I said no. A client asked if she could bolt on another training day because she was feeling strong and wanted to do more. Here's why the answer was no. Your split isn't random. It's built around your recovery, your progression, your numbers, all working together. Adding a session doesn't add results, it adds fatigue you haven't planned for, and that fatigue eats into the recovery the rest of the programme depends on. Feeling good three weeks in isn't a sign you need more. It's a sign the plan is working. Let it keep working. If you've got energy to spare, put it into extra walking or movement on your rest days.
