I was worried about this season after those first two chaotic episodes, but Episode 3 had me absolutely bawling 😢😭 What a brilliant, beautifully executed episode. This is the emotional depth, character work, and storytelling that made me fall in love with this universe in the first place. The performances were phenomenal, the emotional beats landed perfectly, and for the first time this season I felt completely immersed. If Episodes 1 and 2 had me concerned, Episode 3 reminded me exactly why I had so much faith in this cast and creative team. We are so back. This episode was perfect and a 10/10!

This whole episode is in a way an ode to Claudia. From the parallel of Gabrielle telling Lestat not to turn Nicky because of his madness. Lestat warning Louis about turning Claudia - telling him that he would regret it for the rest of his life. Then to Claudia’s assault at the hands of Bruce being interspersed between Lestat’s flashbacks of his own assault while he was being turned. Louis getting revenge for what Bruce did to Claudia and then going to the diner to see her doppelgänger.

I haven't watched episode 3, only episodes 1 and part of 2, I'm not hooked, and it's sad because in season 1, I was hooked at minute 20, I'm having a hard time watching the unconnected mess it's been season 3, but I guess I'll watch till 3, and give the chance this show has deserved for all this long, I'm seen really good reviews int this post ab this episode
