I’m so intrigued by this, I have red pigmentation on my face and have had micro needling recommended but the price per session scares me

I think you did great. Just two pointers for next time. Be bare below your elbows - this eliminates the risk of your sleeves coming in contact with your sterile field and contaminating it. Secondly, don’t touch your face with your gloves (or bare hands). Those gloves are considered “clean” not sterile.

I’m guessing the microneedling you had done on your stomach was for stretch marks, are you also going to use this on your stomach?

Don’t wanna be preachy, but the torriden serum should definitely not be used as your glide. It’s not sterile and it contains preservatives. Google granulomas if you’re not squeamish 😬. You should only use injectable grade single use vials of skin boosters or hyaluronic acid, or you risk some gnarly things.

the sound is so comforting to me, sounds like a tattoo studio 😅 i hope you get the results you want. can I ask why you were told not to use that particular serum?

Pull the under eye skin down first. You’re not supposed to go above the orbital bone (upper or lower).

You did do a great job though! Here are some tips. Forehead is always going to hurt more, more prone to bleeding because the bone is right there. Forehead, under eyes and nose you can do 0.5, wouldn’t really go any higher. Could max out at 0.7 for forehead. You can also support the skin you’re treating a bit more with your other hand. 1.5 is max you’d go on cheeks, you’re penetrating the dermal layer (where collagen is made) at that depth. Always a good idea to work up to that though! There’s also a lot of talk about LED post needling. You are wanting to create that inflammatory process which is how the skin repairs. LED can reduce that inflammation and therefore can reduce results. It’s not going to damage the skin though. Well done!

Pinpoint bleeding is super normal for micro needling, has something to do with depth and getting into the dermis layer! I had 11 sessions done and definitely bled a bit 😅
