@offenceregister: Sean Ellis-Evans and Sarah Vigus North Cornelly Rapists Sean Ellis-Evans and Sarah Vigus, the North Cornelly Rapists, were sentenced to more than 16 years in prison. South Wales Police received a complaint on Sunday, September 4, 2022, alleging that Sean Ellis-Evans and Sarah Vigus had sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl. The victim's mother, acting on her behalf, made the initial call. When police arrived on the scene, the victim gave them a statement in which she explained that she had been out celebrating with Sarah Vigus. Sean Ellis-Evans, Vigus's associate, in a local bar. She accepted an offer from Sean Ellis-Evans and Sarah Vigus to her home on Heol Degwm after they had visited the pub. She just remembered sleeping on the basement sofa when she got there. She realised that Sean Ellis-Evans was abusing her when she woke up and saw Sarah Vigus floating over her. She also recalled seeing Ellis-Evan's assaults and feeling Sarah Vigus's contact on her body. The victim was upset and tried to leave, but Sarah Vigus tried to stop her. After gathering her belongings, the victim left the house and went down the street, followed by Sean Ellis-Evans, who escorted her home. She told her folks about the terrible events when she got home. Mobile phone data analysis throughout the investigation revealed that Sarah Vigus and Sean Ellis-Evans had discussed sexual actions with the 17-year-old victim. Before inviting her to their home on the evening of September 4, they bought her several alcoholic drinks. At the end of the trial, the jury unanimously found Sarah Vigus and Sean Ellis-Evans guilty. Sarah Vigus and Sean Ellis-Evans were detained because of the seriousness of the offence. Heol Degwm, North Cornelly, Bridgend residents Sean Ellis-Evans and Sarah Vigus were both sentenced to a cumulative term of 16 years and 6 months at Cardiff Crown Court today, Monday, September 22, 2025. For the crime of rape, 39-year-old Sean Ellis-Evans was sentenced to eight years and three months.
