Think @Ooni Pizza Ovens are just for making pizza? Think again!   ad. Let’s make some cheesy garlic bread (using a spare pizza dough ball!) in the Ooni Volt 12 Electric Pizza Oven.    The Ooni Volt is especially useful this time of year when it’s oftentimes raining. No need to go outside…just plug in and go! Cheesy Garlic Bread Ingredients 1x 250g (9oz) pizza dough ball, fully proofed 4 Tablespoons (60g) salted butter, softened 2-4 cloves garlic, depending on size and how much you love garlic! 2 Tablespoons (8g) fresh basil, julienned 2.5 Tablespoons (15g) Parmesan cheese, finely grated Flaky sea salt + pepper to taste 150g (1.5 cups) low-moisture mozzarella cheese, grated Method Before proofing your pizza dough ball, coat it with a mixture of semolina and flour. Cover and set aside to proof for 2.5-3 hours. You can make your own pizza dough (my recipe is linked in my bio), or of course you can use shop bought pizza dough. Near the end of the proofing time, plug in your Ooni Volt Electric Pizza Oven and set the temperature to 225C (425F). It should take about 10 minutes to preheat. Gently stretch the pizza dough ball into an oblong oval about 10-inches in length. Place it onto the pizza peel, give it a little shake to make sure it isn’t sticking and then slide it into the pizza oven. Bake for 7 minutes, rotate the bread and then finish baking for a further 5-7 minutes or until it’s reached your desired colour. Transfer to a cooling rack while you mix up the garlic butter. Mix together the butter, basil, garlic and Parmesan cheese. Season with a touch of salt and pepper if you wish to. Cut the bread in half to expose the interior, spread with the garlic butter, place into a baking tray (I used the Medium Ooni Detroit Pizza Pan) and sprinkle over the mozzarella cheese. Return to the oven for a further 10-12 minutes (at the same temperature) or until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown. Slice and enjoy! Save this recipe to try the next time you find yourself with a spare dough ball! Learn more about the Ooni Volt and the full range of ovens at ooni.com.    #ooni
