Artists need to take note from Taylor bc her physical media always goes beyond what the standard is. She doesn’t price them at insane prices either. TTPD had 2LPS and an entire lyric book and was less than Olivia’s. Speak now tv was 3 LPS and it was only $10 more than Olivia’s like… I love Olivia but her vinyls have always been slightly disappointing but this is on a different level. I’m not trying to compare the two it’s just Taylor swifts vinyls are really that good when compared to other vinyls

Cutting songs to make an album fit a vinyl is already bad because some people actually buy them to play them and when you cut out a BRIDGE it is that deep, but the fact that they didn’t say anything about that is what makes it even worse and I do think she should be called out for it because it’s not okay. I do think she had a call on this cause she made the shortened songs, also I bought the cd and it has the full songs so the songs are cut because they didn’t fit not because they haven’t finished them. (I love her so this isn’t hate on her)

I think that it’s a bit unfair that the vinyl only has 1 LP, when she charges the price of 2 LPs in the uk (idk about other countries). And that would mean she wouldn’t have to cut it

If the record isn’t ready, then don’t release it. I’m sure fans would wait another month or two for the completed version. The Weeknd and Beyoncé had first pressings and I remember the backlash from that. You just know that a deluxe will be released with the full songs but I don’t want to buy it again!

the fact that the album is not the full one that's on streaming is disgusting and should have been disclosed. glad I waited and I will be skipping this until we get a pressing that's COMPLETE

My lenticular variant came with a split seem and is very staticky/pops despite cleaning and skips on one of the tracks. I thought it was my needle but nope. 👎 about 60 it total with shipping and taxes.

The quality of TLOAS vinyls was insane. High quality material, high quality finish, lyrics, different letters to accompany each variant, double gatefold, patterns/colors that actually matched the stock photos… just really excellent and better than any other vinyl I own. And they were the same price as YSPSFAGSIL. There’s literally no excuse, this was a choice.

what’s even crazier is that i paid $50 for red taylor’s version. a four LP album. for girl so in love, i paid $40 for a one LP. i shouldn’t be paying four LP prices for a single LP

I’m more upset at how poor the pressing is in quality. My blue splatter had no blue & both that & the lenticular cover pressing have a horrible amount of pops & crackles.

i understand the thought process behind her team and her deciding to shorten certain songs because the whole album doesn’t fit just on one lp but it’s kinda crazy to press a second vinyl just for one or two songs (for both financial and environmental reasons). however it’s still upsetting and they should’ve either marketed the vinyl as being a shorten version of the album and charged less or olivia should’ve tried to shorten certain songs as a whole where the shorten version is essentially the “normal” version and it’s the same on all platforms and media types.

I was a little surprised there’s no track list and not even a sheet of paper with the lyrics on if they didn’t want to do anything fancy! I personally love lyrics in the vinyl somewhere it just helps to connect to the project. I was particularly impressed with Melanie Martinez Hades vinyl, it was all very good quality, well executed and it felt like we got bang for our buck? Same with Noah Kahan’s TGI. Also loved Raye’s latest album although this had the same issue with not the finished version. I think she told us in advance though but I bought mine a few months later so I could be wrong
