my special interests change over the years (it was mlp, then genshin, then currently football) and i haaate hate how its overlooked and just described as dinosaurs and trains. not only not every autistic person has a special interest, but when someone does have it, it gets so stereotyped and described as childish. no one ever could understand how a special interest means in our lives
