What’s inside my Tick Kit for hiking If you want one pre made - check out atlantickspray They also have insect repellent. Alchohol Swabs Bandaids Polysporin Tick Key - to remove the tick fully Fine tip tweezer - to get any body parts out. A collection tube (or a tiny little plastic baggie works) - it’s super important to save the tick so you can send it in to get tested. There are many strains of Lyme, and many coinfections that most people with Lyme also get sick with that Ticks carry. Its a big ol puzzle figuring out which. So IF you get sick, you’ll have the answers right in the bug. Drawing Salve - this is a homeopathic remedy for pulling from the bite. I don’t have the science behind it.
