This crop of politicians entered and continue because of a major flaw in the handover process of Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar. A lot of people didnt trust the Sincerity of the soldiers to hand over. Only people who had nothing to loose entered politics during that handover. I still believe that Gen Abubakar shouldnt have hurried to handover but should first built confidence and enable competent people get on board. We should be searching for how to reverse that costly mistake!
