I think a lot of people have daughters right now who are looking up to Ariana and saying that they want to look like her hence where a lot of the concern is coming from. She has so many young fans and with the rise of GLP-1s and skinny trends online, I think people just want to remind girls that they don’t need to change their bodies to fit in

Weight loss drugs should never be a trend or given to someone who doesn’t medically need them. There should be some accountability for the medical profession here.

Here’s how I see it - random person on the street who has no platform and you know nothing about? Don’t say anything about their body. Famous person with a massive platform and thousands of young girls idealising their body which is actively harmful? It’s ok to talk about why that body isn’t something anyone should be trying to attain and say you hope that person gets the help they need. Someone you’re close to who is negatively impacting their health? Absolutely talk to them with kindness and compassion.

I completely agree as a recovered anorexic. I will always remember sitting at the breakfast bar in the mist of the illness with beans on toast (yes I’m a Brit) in front of me and having a full blown panic attack. My Dad said “just eat!!” And got so upset and frustrated. I can see how scary it

I’m m very concerned about the ubiquity of GLP1’s it seems you can get them I like without a prescription and without being followed by a medical professional. I lived thru the fenfen period and think this is going to be even worse.

Very good video. I do believe the celebrity world deals with “yes” people and I question how they handle “no” people around them? If everyone is telling them YES, and you look fabulous, how much harm happens with the people surrounding them?
