People with eczema are one of the strongest people out there the amount of pain and suffering they go through which affects their mental health yet they still don’t give up I have it too and omg there needs to be more awareness they don’t know how we struggle

😩 Yes my son is getting older and being more aware of his eczema. The time he told me “I just want to be normal” it broke my heart.

I’ve lived with eczema all my life. So I know it is never “just skin”. It affects sleep, confidence, work, relationships and the way you feel in your own body. TSW has made that even clearer to me. The medical debate matters, but so does lived experience. People need to be believed, not dismissed. We need better research, safer long-term care, and a more human approach to chronic skin conditions. Because sometimes the thing people can see on the outside is only a small part of what someone is carrying.

hi! i have eczema too, but it is not an autoimmune disorder. please educate yourself on autoimmunity vs. overactivity!! it still can be a debilitating condition, but your body is not attacking itself, although it sometimes may feel like it is. kudos to everyone who stays strong while living with eczema.
