I had to work today and I’m training at a new location and my trainer and I were talking about our families and I mentioned I was going home to visit my mom and sister in a week. She asked about my dad and I started tearing up and had to explain that he died 5 years ago. Idk why it hit me so hard today because Father’s/Mother’s Day have always just been a day in my family
