@letsbetechs: Version 2: This was a frustrating one, to say the least! A little backstory: the customer had already approved replacing the equipment, but there was a 3-week lead time on the new system. As a courtesy, we wanted to try and get some of their cooling functional in the meantime. The rest is history, as you'll see in the video. The first time I uploaded this, I accidentally edited out the part where I checked it to ground—so this re-edited version is here to prove I'm not a complete moron! 🤣🤣 Sadly, I didn't own a megohmmeter at the time of this video. This is also going to be a fun experiment to see how the algorithm works. I’m uploading both versions to see which one it serves you first, or if it shows you both at all. Let me know which one hit your feed! #hvac #hvactechnician #hvaclife #hvacapprentice #onthisday

Why not just put terminals straight to the pins to the unit instead of those extender connectors thingy

why not just change the compressor to start when those terminals look like that? isn't it just going to be a problem later?

u need a high voltage multimeter meger because if the short is not a dead short a regular low voltage resistance wont catch it.. high voltage can because it will still pass through even if insulated a bit
