5 months ago, on a random Saturday, my 3 year relationship ended suddenly. Last night I questioned if I could ever love again after that, if I can ever trust again, if I can ever let someone get close again…. This poem was absolutely what I needed to hear today. Thank you ❤️

I’m not sure anyone has ever put into words how I feel this well, this poetically, this raw. I love understanding that the love I give to others is not a love many people have the ability to give in return. Even those who have deeply wounded me, needed the love I showed them.
