You could have just cut it off clean from the bottom. With a angle grinder what’s what we do just be carful you don’t cut the sensor or the wheel

Usually you can just continue letting it spin until the sensor separates from the stem. Then grab some vice grips on the stem and remove it that way. Wayyyy less risky. Drilling or chiseling is like last ditch effort if the stem is seized to the wheel.

The proper way to this is use a special made pin to stick in that little hole to hold down the stem in place to remove hex nut

tried that before, ended up breaking out the valve stem hole and had to order another wheel.

all you had to do was use a little penetrating oil and some pliers so it doesn't spin on the bottom.
