Phrases like “wannarexics” is absolutely insane to me. It gives people the idea that you have to starve yourself longer or partake in specific unhealthy habits to actually be validated. People don’t just want to be anorexic for the hell of it. This exact wording is what fuels the competitiveness within this disorder. If someone actively starves themselves or acts on unhealthy habits then it’s no doubt that that person is struggling and shouldn’t be getting told that what they are experiencing is them simply being attention seekers or “wannarexics” I think people that promote this type of stuff need serious help and need to reflect on what they are putting on the internet which is viewed by mainly a younger demographic.
