The challenge is distinguishing between lifestyle standards and relationship standards.A person may not be able to offer the same level of luxury as your ex but they may offer qualities that matter more in the long run such as consistency, commitment, emotional maturity, shared values, financial responsibility and genuine love.The real question is not Can I settle for less but rather is this person's lifestyle temporary or growing..I believe a healthy relationship should ideally be with someone whose future vision and capabilities match the life you want to buildnot necessarily someone who can immediately replicate what an ex provided.
