Well, an Illinois man recorded the moments a tornado tore through his home, destroying the property while he remained surprisingly at peace and trapped inside. ————————— Trevor Jason Kreke was filming the severe weather on Wednesday evening and sending the video to a friend when conditions suddenly became dangerous. As the powerful tornado ripped through the area, Kreke’s home was completely destroyed. Despite the devastation, he escaped without serious injury, suffering only a cut on his hand. ————————— Video captured after the storm shows Kreke sitting amid a pile of rubble where his home once stood. His vehicle was also heavily damaged as the tornado tore through the property. According to the Effingham County Emergency Management Agency, the tornado traveled an estimated 12 to 15 miles through the northern parts of the county. The agency reported that 30 homes were completely destroyed and another 29 sustained major damage as a result of the storm. Despite the widespread destruction, officials said no serious injuries were reported. Thoughts?
