Lady next to me pushed out a 10 lb baby naturally , I still get chills when I remember her roar, it was primal and everyone just paused until we heard her baby cry and we all started cheering for them !!

Gentle reminder that birth is also a huge trauma for your body and your mental health so you can cope however you need to be to get through it. You are doing so much, we can carry you - an OB/ Gyn nurse

I was 17 and screamed because I had no pain medicine (by choice) and my mom and both of my nurses told me I was being dramatic. I’m now infertile and can’t do it again. I totally get this and I’m so sorry you felt you had to apologize to your medical team! 🫶
