my wife had one years ago and yea the plastic body was a good idea however living in upstate ny in the winter it goes below zero and I closed her car door and it shattered like glass

The s class didn’t fail! It was too successful and that scared GM. They were cars that were easy to repair, dent proof, cheap, and the experience of buying them was pleasant. GM created the thing that would destroy them.
