There actually used to be a town called Igloo, SD it used to be a Mining town south of Edgemont. When it closed down they loaded up everything including the homes. The homes were then relocated to the Reservation. I know Pine Ridge Reservation got some homes and where they were placed was known as Igloo housing. Only One house still stands. Little one room homes. Any way that’s the long answer to why the bar is Named Igloo Bar. 😂
