A group of bricklayers working on a nearby building got angry. Instead of ignoring him, one of them poured wet cement into my dog’s eye. The next day, his eye started bleeding. We tried everything we could to save him, but sadly, he didn’t make it. This wasn’t an accident. This was cruelty. People don’t understand that dogs feel pain, fear, and suffering just like we do. A loyal animal lost its life simply because it was doing its job. Today it’s a dog. Tomorrow it could be someone’s child, someone’s pet, or another innocent life.
