The thin paint on the US made Tundra is the last of their worries. Tundra motors are blowing. Glitter is showing up in oil changes just from daily use, even when oil changes are done before 5k. I had my Tundra for a year, large pieces of metal were in my oil 2 weeks after a change. Took it to Toyota to get the new motor swap, but because it was a hybrid, it wasn't part of the massive recall. They basically said they wouldn't do anything until my motor went out....we got rid of the truck. I drive over 20k miles a year, I'm not waiting around for my truck to shit the bed before you'll replace something that needs it. Toyota has recalled 200k Tundras because this is a known issue.

The warning basically says that the American Domestic Market cars aren't suited or match the quality expected of the Japanese Domestic Market.

I have a tundra and can confirm their new American built cars are garbage. I have more recalls on this truck in the last 3 years, than every other car I've ever owned combined.

Toyota has been importing trucks to Japan. I have been loading them on the ships for years. This is on Toyota. Has Toyota issued a warning that their engines are breaking before 30k miles?
