That’s when you ask those same leaders/management, “ What made you to come to that conclusion so I can have better understanding ? “. It’s non-aggressive, and asks for evidence in the decision making process. Depending on the audience, this can go a long way.

Totally. Well there was once I just said to my ex-manager that I will think about it (his advise), then the next thing he did was to ask his boss to join in the meeting the next day with him. So 3 of us in the meeting. I felt like I was being penalised for being myself - for needed time to process what just happened.

I’m the difficult one because I speak up. One to two years later they realize I was correct.

15 yrs in the company they know my work ethic and yet I try to give suggestions which say they can’t accommodate! And with a little more push back they call me a complainer! Am I considered the pain in the ass?

What advice can you give someone who has a boss that likes to ask his subordinates to do things him, like making coffee, bring him water for drinking. Actually want everything to be done for him.

For the leaders, this comes down to how comfortable and aligned they are within themselves. They're not going to get upset if their internal system is coherent. In fact, a good leader should be able to pick up on the subtleties of the energy shifts around them.

I have a very direct way to say what's wrong, especially if I don't care anymore. After analysing how I've served the truth, it could be hard for my management, but still I've cared more about solving problems than serving it in a more distinctive way. I think managers want the opposite 😏

It’s fine if the conversation is constructive. But when yr employee gave nonsense feedback and still insisted they are right, and when their feedback is not accepted, they started groupthink and ostracize their manager, it became a toxic environment.
