I'm using a translator, so sorry if anything sounds off↓ 1) Mouth Position and Opening/Closing As a general rule, the mouth should be positioned slightly above the midpoint between the nose and the chin. In a bird's-eye view, the mouth appears lower, while in a low-angle view, it appears higher. When the mouth opens, the lower jaw moves downward and slightly backward around the temporomandibular joint. 2) Lip Structure The upper lip consists of a downward-facing plane, while the lower lip consists of an upward-facing plane. In a bird's-eye view, the upper lip is partially hidden and appears smaller, while the lower lip looks more rounded. In a low-angle view, the upper lip appears larger, and the boundary between the lower lip and the skin becomes more defined. 3) Mouth Corners and Eye Placement A good rule of thumb for the position of the corners of the mouth is roughly below the edge of the iris. When pursing the lips, the corners of the mouth move slightly inward from below the inner corners of the eyes. When smiling broadly, the corners of the mouth move slightly inward from below the outer edges of the irises. Drawing the mouth slightly narrower can create a more youthful or cute impression. Note: Please note that this is just my personal approach and not the only correct way. Mouth shapes vary from person to person, and the drawing method will also differ depending on the art style.
