@hannah.jungle: My partner was in hospital in the respiratory ward and they literally handed him a drink which contained ingredients known to irritate some people with asthma... and not only that, when I went looking for a snack after spending the day with him, I couldn't find a single item of what I would personally call "food". I found sweets, chocolate, crisps, fizzy drinks, sandwiches with lists of ingredients I couldn't even pronounce. All served inside an institution that's supposed to heal people. The conclusion I came to is that these places have one goal: sell drugs. That's their aim, not health.

Unfortunately I don’t think there is any ‘real’ food left unless you grow it yourself. Everything is food like substances or modified and no longer food. 😔

I agree completely I have said the same thing many times. Sad state of affairs, I just drink water or tea if I am desperate.

I do feel your pain. I have an ulcerative colitis condition and I was served with chips, roast chicken, crisps, sweet sodas, chocolate. It was an eye opener. Keep it going 😊
