I have vitiligo, the last couple years it grew on my hands. I don’t like it. Pretty happy with the successful clinical trials this last year. I don’t think I’ll ever like it and I’m ok with it!

I have it on 85% of my body and definitely can’t hide it anymore so I’ve come to terms on it is what it is . I’m unique ♥️

People do look. I have it all over. Hands, Arms ,legs , feet ,face. I hate it. I used to have the most golden tan. I’m embarrassed by it and try to find anything to cover it up. It’s so hot wearing long sleeves and pants in the south in the summer.

I have had vitilgo on my leg since age of 3. I let it ruin my childhood life. I won't wear shorts skirts parks. Tried cover ups but dont match. Hoping one day I can go out and not care what others think. im 48 now

I’ve had vitiligo since I was 10 years old. During my childhood and teenage years, I was completely indifferent to it it had no impact on my psyche or my self esteem. It wasn’t until my early 20s that it became an issue, and I’m not going to lie it took a toll on my confidence and self image. Now, in my 30s, I’m happy to say that I’ve come full circle, I see it much the same way I did as a child: a collection of harmless spots that resemble the patchy coat of a tortoiseshell cat.

En mi caso lo notan, tengo como 50/50 de blanco blanco y blanco, mi piel es naturalmente clara, sin embargo, aun la piel sin vitiligo se broncea y hace contraste, pero es tanta mi despigmentacion que solo me preocupo en pocas ocasiones, algunos días ando sensible y me preocupo. Pero si lo notan, porque tengo vitiligo universal y siempre es tema de conversación.
