The differences can be seen in the quality of housing, infrastructure, public services and even in the opportunities available to those living in each area. Whilst some neighbourhoods stand out for their skyscrapers, exclusive areas and high levels of investment, others face challenges relating to income, access to resources and more limited living conditions. These images show how two completely different realities can coexist within the same city, revealing the social and economic complexity that characterises many modern metropolises.
