@memphisjonez: A lot of people see the freedom. They see the mountains, the rooftop tent, the ability to wake up wherever the road takes me. What they don’t see is me doing laundry out of bins and buckets in a parking lot somewhere. Living out of a vehicle isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes it’s laundry. Sometimes it’s figuring out where you’re sleeping. Sometimes it’s eating the same damn meal three days in a row because it’s practical. But honestly, none of that bothers me. A minor inconvenience is still minor. The trade-off is freedom. The ability to pack up and go wherever the work is. The ability to chase opportunities instead of waiting for them. The ability to wake up and decide what direction my life is heading that day. A little discomfort is a small price to pay for a life that feels like it’s actually yours. So today it’s laundry. Tomorrow it’ll be something else. Either way, we keep moving.
