Some become relentless, taking unprecedented risks. Others withdraw completely, feeling the game isn't worth playing. Some reinvent themselves, while others burn everything down. It's not about becoming good or bad, but about how desperation reveals possibilities that comfort keeps hidden. So, the real question isn't just, "What is someone capable of?" It's: "What values remain when fear is no longer the thing holding them back?" If kindness, honesty, or discipline are only present due to fear of consequences, then those qualities were never truly theirs.
