the tiles are not the problem. its there is no grout between therefore water behind and mold will grow but you do you boo

She knows her stuff! This is exactly how authentic Zellige tile is meant to look. I use it on my own properties, and the handcrafted variations are what make it so beautiful. It’s not supposed to have perfectly straight lines or look like machine-made tile—that’s the charm and character of Zellige.

Tile setter here and i immediately knew that was the look. It has to be if the pieces aren’t 100% identical which they clearly aren’t.
