Medicube, anua..etc. are so gimmicky. They market their brand as quick results, trendy, overconsumption bait like fast fashion but for skincare.

As a former overconsumer, it’s the gimmick of the gua sha as part of the bottle, because we haven’t seen a gua sha as a part of the bottle before. And you are completely right that it’s totally unnecessary. But when people see a new gimmicky thing, over consumers can’t help but think they “need it”

i really hate this new wave of brand marketing 😭 Even if they have some good products the marketing just makes them seem untrustworthy to people who actually understand the science, not just labels on packaging.
