Data centers are the backbone of the internet. Everyone wants to do remote work but that wouldn’t be possible without data centers. Our commerce, internet, and payment systems all rely on them as well. Power plants are also extremely noisy and people even complain about the noise coming from wind turbines saying it’s intrusive. Making data centers more sustainable should be the topic bc they’re as necessary in today’s world as plants and roads.
